Your Future

I woke up to a video playing on YouTube. It was Dr. Myles Munroe. Yes, I tend to put on sermon videos to fall asleep. That way, I can be hearing the Word even while I am sleep. It’s a far cry from when I used to let the 24/7 news cycle put me to sleep. Back then I used to have bad dreams, crazy dreams, nightmares, and all. So be careful what you fall asleep watching. Matter of fact, limit your news intake to zero if you really want to avoid all the drama that comes from watching it too much.

So I woke up and started watching this video entitled, “How to Face the Future With Fearless Confidence” by Dr. Myles Munroe and I believe I heard him say the year was 2004! But don’t let the year throw you off from the message because it was TIMELY as ever!!

At first I didn’t know how I would feel simply sharing this video with you, but it impacted me so much that I started a conversation with God about it. And on this last day of the man-made calendar year of 2020, I pray that it sparks your conversation with God too about your future.

So without anything additional on today’s blog/podcast, here’s the link to the video.

My sincere hope is that you come away from this video knowing that the key to your future is knowing God’s purpose for your life.

In this new year, instead of creating a vision for the life YOU want, have a conversation and write the vision that GOD already planned out for your life.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~ Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will ~ Ephesians 1:11 NIV

We were also chosen to belong to him. God decided to choose us long ago in keeping with his plan. He works out everything to fit his plan and purpose. ~ Ephesians 1:11 NIRV

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
